Ruairi Edwards

Ruairi Edwards is a nationally sought-after conductor, pianist and vocal coach who works across the UK and internationally delivering projects, workshops and rehearsals. A core member of some of the country’s most prestigious choral organisations, including Ex Cathedra and National Children’s Choir of Great Britain, Ruairi works with everything from experienced chamber choirs and orchestras through to massed choruses of 1000+ children; from corporate settings to local communities.

Former vocal coach and pianist on Gareth Malone’s BBC BAFTA award-winning The Choir: Sing While You Work (2012-2014), Ruairi has developed a reputation for bringing joy, passion and a natural love of singing to all of the people and organisations he works with.

His musical travels have taken him around the world to places like Dubai, Thailand, Uganda, Hong Kong and the USA, where he spent a week working with legendary jazz singer Bobby McFerrin.

Ruairi is the founder and leader of the regularly sold-out vocal retreat Finding Your Voice, which takes place twice yearly at Devon’s Dartington Hall Estate.
